We propose to companies who consider to outsource the internal audit function to carry out the following activities:
- Defining the internal audit policy;
- Establishing the escalation procedures for the internal audit function to follow before informing the supervisor;
- Establishing, implementing and maintaining the audit plan;
- Submission of a written report on findings and recommendations to the company's Board of directors;
- Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system and other elements of the system of governance.
